POLICY SUMMARIES
US
CUSTOMERS:
The US Department for Homeland Security has implemented
a new policy (Sept., 2004) requiring all inbound US
shipments to be accompanied by the recipient's Federal
Tax ID # or Social Security #. If you wish to disclose
that to us to place on the waybill paperwork, that
is fine. Otherwise, you will note on your invoice
that the Customs Brokers can call you and obtain it
on the telephone. Of course the choice is yours and
we respect our client's privacy so we will let you
choose. We suspect that not necessarily all shipments
will need this information verified.
Our
Sales Policy:
We
fully stand behind all products sold on this site.
All original artworks are warranted against material
misrepresentation. Should an artwork arrive and be
materially different than that listed on the site,
we will gladly issue a credit or refund upon return
of the artwork in its original condition. Please be
sure to ask before ordering whether the image is representitive
of the artwork, as some of the images on the site
do not reflect the true colours of the original 100%
due to scanning and / or photography variances.
All original artworks are shipped insured unless otherwise
indicated by the Buyer. Be sure to inspect all shipments
before signing a release for them. Although extremely
rare, items damaged in transit will be compensated
for by the Carrier's insurance policy (ie the Shipper).
All
open edition prints carry a conditional warranty covered
by our Partners. Those prints supplied directly by
Group of Seven Art.com are costly to produce due to
the framing expenses, and we require a 50% non-refundable
deposit on all these orders. If they arrive damaged,
the Buyer will be fully compensated by the Insurer
and issuance of an identicle replacement is possible.
Again, please inspect all shipments before signing
for them. Also, please be sure to ask if the web site
image is representitive of the actual prints.
Returns:
If
there is a material misrepresentation or error on
original artwork sales or advertisements, please contact
us by email at info@inaeanartgroup.com
within 5 days of receipt of the order. We will then
instruct you on return shipping instructions. If the
error is from us, we will either correct the order
at no charge to the Customer or if we cannot fulfill
the order for any reason, we will promptly issue a
full refund including shipping charges if applicable
upon receipt of the original order in its original
condition.
All
other returns after the 5 day notification period
will be issued a credit towards another purchase upon
return of the merchandise in its original condition.
Once
an advertisement is posted, unfortunately we cannot
offer refunds. If there is an error, we will make
the necessary changes. Click
here for advertising details.
Material
misrepresenation definitions that would lead to a
full refund on a purchase of an artwork:
-
Artwork Size as determined by surface area wrong by
15% or more.
- Wrong image altogether.
All
other errors or ommissions will be addressed and dealt
with in a manner to be least inconvenient to the Buyer.
Shipping
Policy:
All orders are professionally packaged to ensure safe
arrival intact. LArger works of art or original works
of art need special crating that must be custom made
for each artwork. This adds to the shipping cost but
is absolutely necessary to obtain the proper insurance
from the carriers.
For
all reproduction prints, we typically use FedEx Ground
or FedEx Priority Service. In some cases, we may suggest
Greyhound Courier Express (within Canada) or Canada
Post Express Mail Service. Whatever service is used,
the order will be trackable and insured. If lost or
damaged in transit, a replacement will be sent as
quickly as possible free of charge upon receipt of
the original order or confirmation from the carrier
that the item was lost or damaged. Please always inspect
the packaging before accepting the shipment. If there
are visible signs of damage or moisture, please have
the delivery person make a note of it and make him
stay until the item is opened and inspected for damage.
Where
possible, we have tried to indicate approximate shipping
charges to Canada and the US. Sometimes we may be
able to find less expensive rates and sometimes the
rates may be more depending on the rates our carriers
charge which change sometimes without notice. If there
is a large difference in the shipping charges from
those listed on the site, we will get in touch with
you to discuss the options, or if you wish to proceed
with the order.
For
all original artworks, typically we must contract
a fine art shipper. Often they require crating be
done in-house to comply with the insurance / shipping
requirements. Thus, often we must find out where the
artwork is going and have a custom quote put together,
as most common carriers do not carry original works
of art. We do offer rates that offer us no premium
over the quoted rates of our carriers. Typically,
the insurance on original artworks is between 1 an
2% of the declared value. We have full service Fine
Art Shippers that can make all of the necessary arrangements
to just about anywhere in the world, including customs
brokering and documentation.
Security/

your personal information including email address

needed to facilitate a sale will be stored securely
and utilized only by accredited institutions processing
the transaction.
